  Geijera parviflora  

  Moderate growth evergreen tree, native to Australia. Also know as Wilga. Design height is 15', mature height 30'. Simple dark green leaves, 3 to 6" long, entire and linear. Flowers: Panicle, 3 to 6", yellow, blooms in March. Prefers full sun, moderate to light water. Likes loam, clay, rocky and sandy soil. Tolerates drought, poor soil, wind and heat. Propagates from cuttings. Little pruning required, low maintenance.

Uses: background, garden tree, lawn tree, patio tree, shade tree, street tree, windbreak.
