| Evergreen, found from Baja California to Oregon. Design height is 2', mature height 2 1/2'.
Leaves from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2' long. Flowers: Cymes, in mid-summer.
Prefers sun, light shade, permanent moisture, acidic soil. Propages from seed. Pruning: remove spend leaves and flowers. Uses: riverbanks, container, specimen, accent, shady moist spot. Photos taken in the Marin Headlands. |
