| From Asia. Moderate to fast growing semi-evergreen vine. Vine height 60', spread 100'; groundcover height 2' and spread 60'. Medium green with bronzy new growth and glossy 8 to 10" long leaves, palmately lobed and ovate to elliptic. Fall foliage coloration can range from orange to red. Inconspicuous flowers (cymes). Black 1/4" berries in fall, attracts birds. Prefers full sun to part shade, does well with no irrigation to high amounts of irrigation. Likes neutral, clay, loam and sandy soil. Tolerates drough, poor soil, salt air and wind. Propagate by cuttings, layering (?) and seed. Thin and head back. Vine will stump sprout if pruned severly Uses: erosion control, as a groundcover or screen. Note: Deeply lobed, may LOOK like it has 3 leaves, but it's actually 1 leaf with 3 deep lobes.
