  From Southern California coast. Moderate growth evergreen shrub, to 3' design height and spread, as well as mature height and spread. Light gray-green dicussate leaves, oppositely arranged, 2 to 4 1/2" long. Scalloped edged and ovate. Has square stem characteristic of Lamiaceae family. Flowers are pale bluish white, 3/8" to 1/2", racemes in summer.

Prefers partial to full shade, water well during growth. Like moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Propagate by seed, cutting, and division. Pruning: Remove buds before bloom for more compact plant. Alternative method is to allow plant to bloom, then cut it back after. Landscape uses: Good trailing over wall or edge of planter or raised bed. As indoor or lathhouse (?) plant, grow in hanging pot or wall container.
