Design height is 4', design spread 4'. Can get up to 10' high; nice and compact in first year but after that, can be rangy. Highly invasive. Deer resistant. Tolerates drought, heat, poor soil, salt air and wind. Fast growth. After flowering, should prune it back. Evergreen, likes full sun.
Leaves are simple/alternate, 4-6" long and 1" wide. Leaf surface is gray-green, lanceolate in shape. Blue flowers, blooming March-June and intermittently Juy through October.
